Acceptance and app license
By downloading, purchasing, or using ReturnDay, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). If you do not agree, do not use the app. The Apple Standard EULA governs the license to ReturnDay.
Personal organization tool only
ReturnDay is a general personal-organization tool. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, merchant, warranty, consumer-rights, or professional advice. It does not represent or act for any merchant, manufacturer, payment provider, or government authority.
User responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing all entered, scanned, recognized, imported, and calculated information; confirming return, refund, exchange, warranty, and proof-of-purchase requirements directly with the applicable merchant; acting before deadlines; retaining original documents; and maintaining device, iCloud, notification, and network settings.
No guarantee of results
OCR results, merchant names, totals, dates, return windows, status information, synchronization, notifications, and other output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or unavailable. A reminder is a convenience only. ReturnDay does not guarantee that a notification will be delivered or that any return, refund, exchange, repair, warranty claim, or other remedy will be accepted.
ReturnDay Pro
ReturnDay Pro is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. Pricing and taxes are displayed by the App Store before purchase. Purchases may be restored using the same Apple Account where supported. Refund requests and billing are governed by Apple’s policies. Pro availability may depend on StoreKit and App Store services.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, use it unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, or reverse engineer or redistribute it except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
Ownership and third-party services
ReturnDay and its original software and design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Apple services and merchant information remain the property of their respective owners and are governed by their applicable terms. The developer is not responsible for third-party services, merchant policies, or external content.
Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RETURNDAY IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, REFUNDS, OR BUSINESS; MISSED DEADLINES; MERCHANT DECISIONS; OR LOSSES ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE RETURNDAY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR RETURNDAY PRO OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
Changes, termination, and severability
Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued where permitted by law. Your right to use the app may terminate if you materially violate these terms or the Apple Standard EULA. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Governing terms and contact
Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. The Apple Standard EULA controls the app license and includes additional warranty, liability, legal-compliance, and Apple third-party-beneficiary terms.
